I am very attached to my country and I'm very proud of it, but i always
wondered why do we have to live a certain way. Then I reached the point that everything goes back to God. and i cant question this fact. one morning when i was driving to university a song came up in my ipod. it was called the expelled ones...
the lyrics of the song was talking about the simple reason why we are here in this world is an APPLE . the apple of adam and eve. and it all got clear for me. all my questions were answered. its all because they picked the apple. and we got expelled from the heavens and got deported to the earth.
then after having a discussion with Mike Bray, i realised that the apple is not the symbol of existence its the symbol of good and evil.
therefore i concentrated my project on making choices that leads to good or evil results. and because this journey is very personal and important to me, I would like to make it personal and close to me. the work is photography with a mixture of Persian patterns.
